With its head office located in Japan, Takasago Electric, Inc. has a rich history of over 60 years. In addition to its Chinese factory (100% owned subsidiary), we also have a branch office located within the United States, DBA (doing business as) Takasago Fluidic Systems. It is located in Westborough, Massachusetts and started its operation in October 2012. The English website of Takasago Electric, Inc. is operated under the name of "Takasago Fluidic Systems".

The core competencies of Takasago Fluidic Systems (TFS) are miniaturization, customization, and integration. With these core competencies, TFS is recognized in the industry for serving the niche demands of its clients, manufacturing the world's smallest class of products to precisely handle fluid volumes in the microliter order and without waste. As a result, we not only supply parts to major global analytical equipment manufacturers, but also receive inquiries regarding incredibly difficult custom-design products or prototypes from well-known universities and agencies such as Harvard University, Stanford University, MIT and University of Cambridge as well as NASA and JAXA. As a concierge of fluid technology, our motto is "never say no" to our customers' technical challenges."

Takasago has a wide range of precise fluidic control related components such as solenoid valves, pinch valves, air-operated valves, diaphragm pumps, syringe pumps, peristaltic pumps, piezoelectric micro pumps, manifolds, fluid chips and fittings etc. These products are used in a variety of fields such as diagnosis equipment, environmental measurement devices, many kinds of scientific analysis applications, medical apparatuses, inkjet printers, and fuel cells etc. and so their wetted materials are selected to be compatible with special fluids such as chemicals, solvents, and analysis samples. In addition to supply of our existing stand alone products, Takasago's ability to customize existing products in order to meet a customer's requirements is one of our greatest strengths. We can manufacture a fluid module by combining several different components.
